Evolution of Beautiful Minds: From Play School to Special Needs Learning Center

In 2012, The Samagrah Foundation (TSF) expanded its scope of work and initiated the establishment of Beautiful Minds, initially conceived as a play school, under the expert guidance of Mrs. Aprajita Sethi, the esteemed President of the Samagrah Foundation. Initially serving as a day care facility for children of working mothers, Beautiful Minds underwent a transformative journey over a span of seven years, gradually evolving into a comprehensive learning and development center with a primary focus on providing top-notch education tailored specifically for children with special needs.

Our profound experiences and interactions with children facing special challenges highlighted the urgent need for us to restructure and adapt our approach to better address their unique needs. Utilizing the period of the pandemic as an opportunity for reflection and strategic review, we meticulously reexamined and realigned our program strategies, drawing from evidence-based practices and cutting-edge insights into disability studies. This introspective journey culminated in the relaunch of Beautiful Minds Learning and Development Centre in 2021, equipped with a holistic range of therapies, specialized educators, and a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals including psychologists, counselors, psychiatrists, developmental pediatricians, and therapists - all available conveniently under one roof.

The redesigned center serves as a platform for innovative teaching methodologies that seamlessly blend creative expression with academic rigor, fostering holistic development among our students. In addition to our robust academic curriculum, we prioritize regular counseling sessions with parents, providing them with invaluable guidance and support on optimizing their interactions and strategies for their children's development.

Beautiful Minds extends its outreach to individuals grappling with various challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, Intellectual Disability (I.D.), Learning Disability (L.D.), Cerebral Palsy (C.P.), and Global Development Delay (G.D.D.). Through our unwavering commitment to excellence and inclusivity, we strive to empower each child with the tools, support, and resources they need to thrive and reach their full potential.
